To address the high cost of animal feed, which is a major constraint in the livestock sector, this initiative will establish 180 mini-feed mills across the country. The feed mills are expected to reduce production costs, improve livestock productivity, and create jobs along the feed value chain. The availability of affordable, locally produced feed will also encourage more investments in poultry, piggery, aquaculture, and other livestock enterprises.
