This initiative aims to localize the production of critical agricultural inputs such as fertilizers, pesticides, and improved seeds. Currently, Ghana depends on imports for over 95% of its agricultural inputs, exposing the sector to supply chain disruptions and high costs. It is expected that the initiative will enhance self-sufficiency, stabilize prices, and ensure timely availability of high-quality inputs to farmers nationwide.
